Worker, 22, Killed While Operating Tree Equipment At Cemetery In Hunterdon County: Prosecutor

A 22-year-old Flemington man was killed while operating tree-chipping equipment at a cemetery on Wednesday, July 10, authorities said.

At 6:20 p.m., police responded to Saint Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington and found Eonias Mateo-Perez dead from his injuries, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson said. 

His death was accidental, authorities said. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating, authorities said.
